You could have knackered the power steering pump  :undecided:

Generally having to re-fill your power steering fluid means one thing - your steering rack is fooked

only place i can think it could have is the banjos on the high pressure hoses like on the pic on page one.

Checked it when i went out earlier still full not lost any also still got the knocking/creaking sound when turning when slow/static.

well you only filled 3 cap fulls so its not a fast leak i would just keep topping up fluid is cheap enough.. or replace the banjos as they do look wet in that pic..

You defo haven't killed your power steering rack you would no it by now i think they thought all your fluid had come out and were running it empty but you weren't so your rack will be fine as long as topped up as required...

Very unlikely mate it will be fine its probably been doing it for months if not longer just keep an eye on the resivour level.. I would say its like 90% going to be fine ive seen many fooked steering racks and believe you no it they become heavy and the engine really struggles yours sounds normal as the revs do raise a tad when stationary..

drives spot on . ..  well needs tracking doing but except that drives fine still no loss of fluid but still have a a knocking from my steering when manoeuvring slow. which is annoying  what can it be ?
