It's not recommended but you get more bangs per buck on Forest Road, Radford  :grin:

Suppose if you've got money to burn then it'd be great fun but for that sort of money can't you buy a 1.8t conversion? :undecided:

considering all the 'tuning' thats been done there was a distinct lack of vernier cam pulleys.

saything that im sure u get get 500+ BHP out of the 1.8 turbo lump the cossie still 2day remains the most easy tuneable lump around

no,no,no,no,no, if youre going to chuck in a turbo`d motor its got to be jap, most of em cream cossies and yes i`ve driven cossies and jap turbo motors :wink:

Has to be the Cossie IMO. Superb engine that will go to 600bhp with a LOT of money thrown at it!!!!!!!!. Would love a Golf cossie as I love both my Golfs and my RS Fords. (See Sig) Diferrent note, Radford eh???????? Piggy, sh!te-hole but true what you say...... :grin:

grrrrrrrrrrr ford kak in a dub. never would i have thought of seeing the words 'Golf' and 'Cosworth' together. 'Golf Cosworth' doesnt exactly roll off the tongue, its about as subtle as being kicked square in the goolies.

Im sure that used to be a show car , the bloke built a cossie 4x4 m3 bimmer , then went onto build a mk2 . Why? coz he could  :huh:
