Windscreen misting up
«
on:

Recently my windscreen has started misting up as soon as I start driving even if its quite warm and dry outside. This is with the climate control switched off. I`ve read on here people saying about dodgy climate systems on older GTI`s, mines an 06. I was thinking of maybe having a look at the pollen filter but I can`t think of anything else as I`m pretty sure there isn`t any leaks anywhere
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers

Pollen filter or air con issue.

My windscreen did this when I had to have it replaced. I simply used a bit of rainx and it hasn't done it since. That was 2 years ago.

I think this time of year you will get a small amount. Change pollen filter, about eight quid from dealers & just make shure screen is clean.
