i have read the threds on engine conversions on here all i want to know is will a vr6 engine mount straight on to the 8v subframe and are the driveshafts the same, cheers adi.

yes and yes.
well, if its a 4 stud 8v the shafts are different but as long as its a 1.8petrol or 1.9td or tdi the shafts will still fit
