wing mirrors

would polo 6n/6n2 wing mirrors fit the mk3 golf? mine atm has manual mirrors, did the polos have manual as an option as i havent found any yet and if they did would the mechanism be the same as the mk3 golf?

i used to have a 1996 1 litre entry level vw polo...even that had electric mirrors! haha, had nothing else though :D
