lol, fair enough, just watch them to see how much of that acid stuff they put on your wheels, last time i went to a valeters, they damaged every alloy, not happy

quick details are a great idea, but look at the meguiars NXT or dodo juice red mist tropical

Will bear all that in mind, just can't get my head round spending £50 on cleaning products. Just want something that'll not take forever to apply and last a wee while. Getting the car resprayed so will need a decent polish to preserve all my hard work.

See, it's that sort of knowledge that is invaluable. I'll leave it a month or so to fully cure off then have a bash with some wax

Is there anything that is good to keep the crap off the bottom of the car? I'll be priming, undersealing, painting in gloss black so stuff slides off more readily but car is low so not too easy to get under there to wash it. Plus it's a daily.

meguiars recommend a 5 step method to cleaning your paintwork, however, i believe it to be a 7 step, which is why is probably takes me so long, lol, and i guess that if youre on a budget, mantis would fit into this...

he hee...

as for your undercarriage... maybe look for a product like this... http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/dynax-s50-extreme-duty-anti-corrosion-wax.php?cPath=77.. I haven't used it or know anyone that has so can't comment on it. but it claims to provide very good protection which is what you're after.

or even this... http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_179607_langId_-1_categoryId_165594

I went for old faithful black stone chip for the underside of mine with corrosion inhibitor. I dunno about the JML stuff but suspect if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
