Mine came very well packed with a custom made polystyrene filled type box.
Inside I got an aerial adapter (not required for my car), official Map DVD V5 (V6.1 was installed on the units HD), a code card, and the latest FW disk (which was also installed on the unit). The unit was wrapped in cling film to keep it from getting scratched.
The stereo itself was immaculate. There were no obvious marks or scratches. The date on the serial sticker (manufacture date) was only about 6 weeks old. Like FroGTI - I wouldn't like to guess where it had come from (the seller told me it was rescued from a written off car

), but it looks and works like new.
