 Does anyone know where I can find some pictures of all of the original MK1 colours? My car is going to the bodyshop next week and I still haven't decided what colour to have it sprayed>

dont know about pictures but most paint suppliers will have colour charts for all volkswagen paints if this helps


57 plate black 5dr ed30, 1969 bay window devon camper. thats all for now folks, hopefully picking up a wagon tomoz

  if you go to http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/benmk1/Golf.jpg you'll find a piccy of my baby!!!! Was thinking of a couple of diff shades of green (lhasa pea lipo etc) or nimbus grey? Also open to ideas, the car goes in in two weeks so i think i need to make my mind up!

Excuse the matt effect in a few of the pictures, greens don't sit too well ontop of red cars.

Had a play with a few other colours for you, let me know if you want anymore done.

The orange looks like the one in the new Golf+ magazine. A real 70's classic colour. Needs to be blinged up with a bit of chrome detailing to work well though. Too much black will make it look a bit naff.
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

Cheers slick  :wink:      Gives me a bit more of an idea!  Got lots of chrome to go on the car and im de locking the front doors so should look sweet once it's done!! Still cant deicde though, perhaps i should draw some colours out of a hat or summat!!!
