timing belt - best price in North West ?

I need my belt changing and have noticed in the past on here prices varying from £270 to £495

can anyone recommend a reasonable priced indie or dealer, I'm in manchester

I'm in the North West and due a cambelt and service - I believe that participating VW dealers are offering fixed price cambelts for £299, or £399 with the water-pump, so that is as good a starting point as any.

I'm going to start phoning around tomos, so I'll let you know how I get on - I'm going to try the local Skoda/Seat and Audi dealers as well as the local indies. Thing is there is a VW dealer within 10mins walk of work....

VW Warrington £365 + water pump, they quoted me £275 + water pump a few months back, i should of had it done  :sad:
