VW have agreed today for the bumper to be replaced.

All because of the hard work put in by John Wood, Workshop Manager, VW Inchcape, Telford. I must also thank Andrew Poole, Brand Manager, VW Inchcape, Telford.

Now they have admitted it and the bumper will be sprayed off the car, I guess they can source and spray the bumpers to their hearts content until you get the one that you are happy with so it won't be long before you get the right one!

Well done, your perseverance has paid off If I were you, I would stick the number plate on using double sided tape, rather than risk drills, screws, or rivets.

Great news mate, success at last. I'm in Tenerife on holiday at the moment hence my lack of activity on here. I shall celebrate your new bumper news with a few beers tonight. Sad but I'm starting to get GTI withdrawals now. Oh well only another 10 days of fun in the sun to get through.
