Steering wheel
« on: 18 August 2010, 12:28 »
Hello again detailers,

Looking for some advice this time on my steering wheel. It seems to be a little... harder and greasier than when I first got the car. I like my leather to be soft, supple and most of all not shiny.

Anyone know any good techniques or products for getting this result?

I've bought some leather cleaner product from halfords (it's a german make) but don't want to use it until I check the forum for advice first.

Thanks

zymoll by any chance?? if it is then go for it its fine, get some mild detergent like fairy liquid or some multi purpose cleaner and give a rub down with that first to get the bulk of the crap off then use your leather cleaner, get yourself some leather cream of some sort to feed the leather back up after you've washed it or the leather will dry out and go brittle.
