Personally I think it's worth it. It's nice to have the comfort mode when the road is bad. I drive occationally on gravel due to my hobby to get to a model air field. I have mine on sport almost all the time on asphalt though.
btw I noticed some shh-sound when I drive over a speed bump. Sound like pressure getting out. I can only hear it with the windows down. It sounds rather cool and supposed to be normal according to the dealers.
