Pacific Blue fading :(
« on: 18 August 2010, 07:43 »
Got MK4 Pacific Blue i think

Problem is, its starting to go a horrible purply colour with swirls and small scratches here and there can anyone recommend a fairly cheapish and easy fix to get the new car look and rid of most scratches which wont last untill the next time it rains.

I have been given a quote to get the car lightly sanded and polished from a body work shop could any one recommend it?

personally i wouldnt take it to the bodyshop as they will run a rotory over it with some wet sand compound like g3, which is fine but they wont finish off with a finishing compound and you'll have buffer trails by the bucket load and they'll show up in certain lights.

if your within guys area or you are willing to traveldown to him id highly recomend you get a quote from him if you want your car to look new again
