Candy White - Mudflaps or not?

I have mudflaps on my white GTD and I think they look great. I have black edition BBS CH rims so that might be a reason why they look good.

I have had mudflaps on all of my golfs and I wouldn't change.

I've a pair on the front of my white 5 door.

Giving the car a good clean after a week in North Yorks showed quite a lot of grit and some small stones stuck in the tar in the mudflaps - and whilst there was still a few splashes of tar on the doors, I'm sure they helped the paintwork.

Just been thankful I had mudflaps fitted.

Was reversing into a kerbside parking space when I heard a crunch  , luckily it wasn't the alloy but the madflap 

So they work well as rim protectors
