Well this is why you dont leave a monkey with tools on his own....He pulled off the fuel hose by 'mistake' so after a gush and hiss of fuel everywhere removed the part and it has broken in a few places.

Three Two questions -

1) What is the part number for the item, looking on etka I cant find the AFB fuel rail/lines anywhere. I can read part of the part number on the plastic but the last two numbers are missing. From what I can read it is "037 133 9**"

2) It means that his car is now stranded in my garage quick fix anyone can think of? a 9mm hose will fit on the fuel rail end but not on the pipe and I have no reducers or any sort with me.

3) Should the inside have a protruding 'nipple', it looks like a bit of plastic has snapped off and has been left in the connector.

Thanks in advance.

I am guessing number 18, 037133992C union

Just for info no 19 is N90558101 round seal

Don't think you will get around not having it.

Hope this helps.

Looks like that is the part. When it snapped off the round seal was stuck on the inside, plied it out and there was a little rubber ring around the round seal as well, which I'm guessing that little ring is in the diagram. I'll be sure to ask for all 3 of the parts. Cheers Wayne. :afro:

This was no leak, this was me being an ass and pulling it off, thus breaking it in the process. Fuel went places.

It's fine, Adam was there to rip it out of me too, I can accept I am un-mechanically minded. It will be sorted though.
