Hi just looking for some advice, I think I had a bit of a bird strike on my headlight after cleaning the car the headlight has some light scratches/scuff see photo. It now looks slightly discoloured and I would like to get it back to looking good.  Has anyone polished these up using wetsanding before, any products that anyone reccomends as I don't really wanna fork out for a new lense.

Sorry about quality of photo doesn't show up to well.

can see just about in the pic, they look pretty scuffed up.

try some cutting compound by hand and see how you get on, id use my rotory on these but you have to be carefull not to heat the lense up.

You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.

Yes I have sorted my headlight only got round to it today, I used Colgate toothpaste Advanced Whitening , I had heard of other people doing the same, I applied a small amount with a microfibre then worked it in gently, then buffed with a clean section of the cloth.  I am really happy with the result.  Will post a pic up later just for comparison with the original photo.

good news is now that your headlight not only clean but protected from cavities too!!

pics would be great!
