Keep the 8v or go for a VR6

It's about 2grand cheaper to do it on a hydro than cable so 16v or vr rather than 8v.

How can they justify £2000 for parts that cost less than £100 from a Seat dealer?

Go for the Vr6.

Higline has more extras and better seats.

It's a garage. That's what they do. Last time i spoke to them they quoted £5,000 from vr to r32. £7,000 from 8v to r32.

Those prices are drive in drive out. So if i can find a tidy vr I can have bit more fun before I change it out.

Yeah mate, go for the VR.
I am planning on selling my 8v to finance a Golf VR6 or Corrado VR6.

The 8V has done it's job as a daily but now i live about a mile away from work, so i want something un-sensible (not sure if thats a word but you know waht i mean).
