0-60 time
« on: 12 January 2005, 19:51 »
Hello

I'm new to the golf world but am looking at getting one soon. I was wondering what the 0-60 times were of the golf gti, for instance the 1.8 T GTI and others like that so manybe i can decide which to get.
Cheers

By the way it will be a MK4 i will be looking at getting.

Easiest way to compare is to use the Parkers guide
Knock at least a second off the 0-60 times of the turbo models if you get it remapped

I've got a bog standard 1.8t 2002 (150bhp)

I've had it done in 7.1 secs.  I wouldn't take official figures too seriously...
But then again I am light, but cant see that makes a difference really.
