Started refurbing the other set of 7Js last week, going slow though because of weather and i now have a badly blowing exhaust which i need to sort first

heres the wheels to start with, this ones dirty but they are corroded where the laquers gone bad so need quite a heavy sanding to get a smooth surface



tyres and valves removed, jack one wheel up and spin it up in 1st or 2nd, lots easier



after the 240G sand, still need to sort out the curb marks and then sand with the finer paper

got one wheel sanded, polished and ready for paint, could do with a bit more polishing but i'll worry about that later

well i've now lowered it 135 on the back so its 120 front 135 back now
and today i did a de-cat








When the front was jacked up the rear sat down alot, i could go this low without any rubbing

Looks good lowered more, have you drove it since then? i want to lower mine buy i dunno if im going to get stuck on speed bumps?

yeah its fine, people said the rides not any worse than before in the back

and it sits pretty level, the front hits on some speedbumps but the back clears fine

my splitter hits every speed bump but i only paid £5 for it so not botherd, the best bit was watching peoples faces when they hear the scraping sounds lol  .
