Armrest blank options?
« on: 10 August 2010, 10:45 »
Iv had a vw armrest in the golf now for over a year and never got round to putting something in the hole in the middle. Does anybody know what parts vw make to fit there, iv seen the iPod and USB but both are really expensive, do they make a blank or a part to turn it into a storage area? Cheers for your help once again guys!

I'd bag an ipod connector for the armrest of ebay, fairly cheap and a doddle to fit. Just check with the seller if it has been tested as they can be a bit flimsy  :undecided:

Iv got an iPod connection in the glove box so just seems a bit pointless to spend 45quid on the iPod part if they do a shelf or blank for it?

Yes a storage bin is available for the armrest.  No idea on p/n though ... shouldn't be hard for the stealer to find ...
