I've seen a few mk3s pull it off, but they are few and far between. I'll try and dig out some pictures later when I can be arsed. 99% of the time it looks awful though. Much like the 'stance' of that car  :grin:

All that work and the car looks terrible  :cry:
His wheels don't fill the arch, the badboy bonnet makes him look 13 with a burberry cap and as for the number plate... Stop it.
Do like smoothed side strips though, IF the rest of the car is done to a high smoothed standard!

One of that cars last owners had my SSW's speeds, I met him at Bristol services, he was showing me some pics of it being worked on then.

Oh and the wheels look fine to me, suit the car quite well

Nothing wrong with the wheels, it's how the car sits on them, which in this case is 'badly'. Anyone can buy a set of baller wheels, pulling them off is another thing.
