did a bit of painting.

i started taking off the top manifold and the cam cover under it followed by the bottom half of the manifold.

all this was treated to a nice lick of paint!!!











also did the throttle body and ISV





i did it all with cans of hammerite. i remember clipper jay doing it with spray cans, i did some bits of my metering head and the braided fuel lines with a spray can. the hammerite does look good and i have given a second coat on everything today. i reckon hammerite would be easier to clean rather then spraying or powder coating as its a daily.

also done the top of my slam panel, this one i sprayed gloss black today.

Good man, bet it makes a difference than before non?
Just a few things, did you clean the gunk out of the manifold before spraying it?
The throttle body where you have sprayed paint, does all moving parts with springs move freely before putting it back on the car? The paint might make it stick a bit once dried?
Apart from that make sure you have all new gaskets and selant on any new joins! especially throttle body to manifold
