Retro Fitting Bluetooth completely (9W7)
« on: 06 August 2010, 17:25 »
Hi Chaps,

I've had a few issues with my GTI which meant i ended up returning it back to the dealer for a refund. I might post a thread about that actually as it was quite a tale!

Anyway the outcome is i've bought a different one which has no Bluetooth kit in at all where as the black sheep GTI  i had had the premium rSAP system in it.

I bought a 9W7 off Mike. and briefly swapped the rSAP unit out and got it all working but now have just a 9W7 and nothing else.

What do i need to get the thing working and where do i get them from? i've looked on most forums and can't really find a guide on what to do.

I assume i need a mic, a loom of some sort from the back of my RNS510 and a link into the main CANBUS somehow?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Rich

Rich,

I will be doing the same install in a few weeks so would be really happy if you could post some details about how you installed it, placement and cable connections etc..
If i get it done before you i will do the same

Thanks!
