Where is Cheapest place to buy new miltek exhaust?

^^^ Without wanting to sound all "RedRobin", it's more than a config difference, all the main pipework, downpipe flexi, resonator section, cat and tailpipe trims are different to the old Mk5 system they sold for around £1000.

Also remember the Mk5 system is 5 years old now so to me in the current climate a £300 increase over 5 years isn't that much of a shock.

How much of a gain are you absolutely assured for your £1400?
Having had a bad experience with Millteks' crappy fit, and fake power claims and constant engine check lights on my S3...I'd be hard pushed to spend that sort of money again, especially for a measly couple of BHP.

You could spend that sort of money on an LSD and get a quantifiably quicker car point to point.

They certainly work...as long as you need it.
You'll notice no difference unless you are working it hard on the open road, or on the track....and only then, when you know how to work it.
I'll make little difference in a straight line, traction wise.
They are fairly user-friendly, that type...unlike the 'race' type.
 
Factor in too, the cost of the gearbox re-build to fit it: £400ish.

Still no more than a new turbo-back exhaust though.

This is nice to use...recommended.
It's adjustable...and on the shortest, is spot on.

It's easy enough to fit once you work out how to get the airbox assembly off, and mine needed the optional pin fitting, which meant drilling the existing pin off the short shift and fitting the supplied pin...all in, an hours work maybe, given the tools and a good sense of what's what.
Nice kit though...

I still think the diff is expensive considering what the Alfa one costs.

BHP gains for a full system i would guess looking at rolling road results for a full system is going to be around 15 bhp but im no expert and am probably wrong. (im no expert im no longer into this stuff so many others will know better).
That equals £100/bhp 

It may also be worth looking into type approval as there is some rule somewere that i remember reading that states from a certain cars manufacture year your only suppose to replace a catalysts with one that was type approved with that model car. Its a rule not many people actually know about. It could get interesting with VOSA on a random stop check.

Got the Milltek and Carbonio fitted today and all i can say is wow  what a difference,
With just the original Revo map it pulled like a train, with the zorst and filter its like a fighter jet 

They couldnt sort the Apr map because Revo have altered the ecu code  and they couldn't access the ecu ?

They spoke to APR and they said to awesome to download all the codes to them they will mess around with it rewrite new codes and send it back ? or something like that ?

Very happy with results except the dreaded hesitation on the Revo is now showing its weary head, been assured that the APR will sort it, but all in all me happy puppy,
could have sorted the map today but i left there at 3 and apr rang back at 3.30  (9.30am in the states)
will sort it next week
