Picked mine up a month ago.
Lights do look good, 3 stone chips after 1000 miles do not. One particularly large on on the middle of the bonnet
Sounds the business tho!

Yupo - had mine a month and [i'll say this ver quietly] - certainly worth the 9 month wait!

700 miles in, one stone chip on the offside mirror after 34 miles !

It dosen't sound like the stone chip issue is getting any better then with the newer production cars then. Mines got a few chips, it's a 59 plate (12k), but none of these are really bad chips and I can't say its any worse then any other car I've owned.

I'm taking mine straight from the showroom to 3M to get it covered with stone chip protection film on the bonnet, front bumper, wings, wing mirror housing, first 3" of the roof, rear bumper and sides 3" from the bottom... :nerd:

I did this for my Ed30 but waited a week and got a small but irritating chip right on the edge of the bonnet.

Darren had a neat protective device on the front of his mk5.

Wonder if they do something similar for the mk6, I believe it was a leather protection jacket that slipped over the front edge of the bonnet, looked pretty neat and would probably do the job.

Illyun, any details on the 3M covering?
This is something that may be of interest to me.
Thanks
