Jetseal 109
« on: 03 August 2010, 16:25 »
Hi All,

I have a Tornado Red Mk5 GTI, and currently after Claying i use megs deep crystal polish and then a coat of tech wax 2.0 (liquid, not paste)

I've been reading on here that a lot of people are using Jetseal 109 and i have a few questions.

Where does it come in the chain? Is it any good, and what difference will it make to the deep shine on the car?

Do i apply it using the same technique as wax?

Thanks - some great advice on this thread!

apply before wax and after polish

lightly apply leave half hour, remove, repeat this again. to make sure you have full coverage

buff off leave half hour then wax

makes my car look wet, best product of the lot!

as kells said apply it after polishing, it basically seals your paint and protects it from uv damage, contaminents etc, give it do 2 layers to ensure even coverage leaving about 20/30 mins between applications to allow the previous layer to cure properly then wax using the same process.

to answer one of your questions... shine wise it isn't the best... if you want that then use a glaze after you polish and before the sealant and wax

protection wise though it is superb and I wouldn't have a car without it

not really considering its durabilty , if you apply it uber thin and do 2 layers it will last you quite a while

Thanks for the advice,

Think i'm definitely going to get some and try it out - £25.00 is a lot but im building up a list of stuff i need and im hoping to place a first order with the Waxamomo guys with the discount code.

I also use AG Extra Gloss Protection which i've been putting on last (after wax) - am i doing this wrong? Is it a glaze that should be applied after polish?

Thanks again!
