I only came across 'theburningman' posts this evening.
'theburningman' seems to have had issues/arguments with two (of the many, we are fortunate to have) knowledgeable posters on this forum in 'golfvr6' and 'Pimpster'.
People like him we can do without...........and as for you two, keep up the good work.

Aw, come on guys - I think Honest John does a great job helping those less mechanincally minded than himself, with all his useful hints on everyday driving. If only there were more people like Honest John in the world I am sure it would be a more harmonious place to live. After all he is the automotive godfather.

I read a thread on there today where someone was trying to tell other people about dodgy exhaust fitting centres. He had his exhaust done and it only lasted about a day, the guy at the fitting centre told him that you can't drive on the motorway with a new exhaust cos the baffles have to bed in!!! The point is he was censored by the moderator when he tried to name the fast fit centre. I think that is part of the problem with people's attitudes in this country, get bad service and your not allowed to tell anyone!

Surely not Kwik Fit, I mean they are purveyors of mighty fine exhaust gas extraction products, and the staff, well they know their eggs indeed. I would have no qualms in letting a novice lad who is still learning his trade loose on my car with an air gun and oxy ecetylene.
