The Dunlops are a very strong tyre, you must have it that hole pritty hard to get the tyre like that. Glad your alloy is ok , but get your ball joints checked too!! I have dunlops on mine also hit a couple of pot holes recently but no damage done thank god!
I suppose what I ment was they are hard wearing but not the best tyres Gilly , never been able to shread them yet so that I can get new one's

The set i have on mine had been used by Neil.. maybe a couple of 1000 miles, I am now pushing 15k+ and they still wont wear!!! thats with me trying!
Speed was about 45-50, didn't seem like a bad impact, I have had worse and got away with it. Going to stick a couple of Michelin PS3s on, had the PS2s on the last car and was impressed with them..
You must have given it a hell of a whack to snap the steel reinforcing and egg the tyre! Might be an idea to have the steering and suspension checked over.
