Newbie - mk3 owner

thanks for the warm welcome guys! Once i get her all cleaned up and serviced etc ill get on with moddin her, got a vr6 lip in the cupboard and on the scrounge for rims now!

any thoughts on:

1.  clunk with lift off or applying power? mounts?
2.  revs, sitting at 3k at 70, that right?
3.  heavy pas, belt or pump?
3.  slightly lumpy idle, dirty maf?

sorry know im being lazy and im sure these ill be apparent once im under her, just looking to cut down my time looking for solutions!!  Ta lads

don't go for a vento front, it's so played out now

hmmmmmmmm vento, still lilkeit but well see.

Other ideas? standard front end? tinted lights? debadged grille? greyed out badge?

don't go for a vento front, it's so played out now

people may say this , but hardly see any mk3 drving around with the vento front end. in fact dont think seen any really just normal golf front end.

Take your car to a VW show and then count how many vento fronts you can find!

What happened to number 4? 

For the last one try cleaning the throttle body with carb cleaner.

yea for last one could try new panel filter
or just plug it in at a garage 2 see if its anything worse
