Am I right in thinking I need all the engine mounts from a 16v GTi for this? I've been told to use a solid front mount but this isnt necessary is it? Wheres a good place to get them from?
cheers

You do not need a solid front mount, way too harsh for road use.

what sort of gains would I get from using vibratech mounts over vag ones?
They are quite a bit more expensive, would people reccomend using them for a 1.8t or stick with standard 16v mounts?

standard mounts will be best. racing mounts will make your ride way too harsh

lol the oposite of what all the advertising says then
the vibratech ones all say they will mak the ride smoother with less engine movement
Think im gonna go vag anyway, £150+ for a front engine mount is crazy
