crash enquiry.

[Carl MK3 GTI 8V]

hi all
My bros car was hit this evening by a taxi on the nearside front. fair amount of damage wing,bonnet and bumper and the door also, the driver and passenger bags blew on it.
I no i have no pics yet but anybody any experience of repairing similar jobs..?
Its more than likely a write of as its only 1.4 04 plate but it was his pride an joy as hes only 18
Thankfully he is ok just wipelash an back pain but all is well apart from the shock.

Yup, if the airbags have gone off then I'm fairly certain it is a write of with a 1.4 '04 reg.

I've seen a fair few damaged/repaired cars on MKV's over the last year or so and there comes a point when you just don't bother and strip the car instead of re-building. Mainly GTI's that get re-built and a few TDI PD's and GT's.
