M.O.T failure
« on: 23 July 2010, 11:35 »
The golf of dreams is slowly killing me  i took it for a Mot today it failed on a few things most of which i can sort myself but the main thing it failed on was the offside rear trailing arm rubber bush, was qouted by the garage just over 300 pounds + vat.......

im not a rich man and wanna save as much money as i can. is it an easy job to do?, what tools are needed or better yet is there anyone local that could do it at a fraction of the cost with added beer tokens?

Cost me 60 quid to have done. So find another garage!
They are a pig of a job to do though!

If you do get stuck around your way I can recommend KAM Auto Services Ltd in Swindon.
They done MOT on my Golf for last couple of years and main man likes Golfs!
