privelige insurer's are having a fu**in joke!

ok im 30 years old with 2 years no claims, last year when i took the policy out i was 29 with 1 yrs no claim and was quoted £840 fully comp on a 99 gti turbo with the only mod being a remap, this year its shot up from the £840 to just short of £1400, how the fook do they work that out? :s im a year older and have an extra years no claims? the dopey sounding female on the phone quoted " its beacause of the bad weather spell we had and so many claims being made, time to shop around as i only have untill the 16th of august, any suggestions of who to try? plus has any1 elses insurance increased ?

Same thing happened to my partner, ford KA 2 years NCB now 22 on a 1.3, went up by £200, they said oh I can talk to a manager and knock of £100 of the extra £200... Which makes no sense, new car, no claims, no breakdowns and it has gone up. Major piss take by anyones standard.

£200 knocked down to £100 extra i could live with "just about" its the thought of roughly £600 highly thats baffled me, altho i still think its wrong they should increase it, with gaining extra years no claims it should decrease , well atleast thats how it used to work, makes me feel like burning the car and not having to worry about my premiums going
up as it goes up anyway lol

my renual came back at £1800 this year i am 27 with 4 years ncb they are mad, so i got mine through hic on here this year for £500 bargin.

yeh iv been reading through this section and iv heard alot of possitive feedback about prices altho heard bad things about there customer support but im going to give them a ring tomoz and hopefully they can quote me happy
