opinion please

Ive got some 928 wheels to go on the mk2. i was hoping for the polished look. Every where I've spoken to have tried to steer me way from this. I'm getting the impression it's a nightmare job. So Whats the opinions of Chroming them?

These are only going to be used in the summer.

steer away because of the maintenance? polished does look a lot better than chrome, but you have to stay on top of the cleaning. if your up for cleaning and protecting them weekly then go polished, if your a bit lazy go for chrome as the wheels will pit otherwise and look sh!t. as a bbs owner i have no sympathy
