Probably a surprise this one but I really rate my VW bluetooth phone kit.

I have the shark fin aerial which looks cool in matching Deep Black Pearl. I always liked the bee sting as well though on previous GTi's.

Syncs up with my Nokia brilliantly, always crystal clear and works great with Voice recognition as well. I do lots of conference calls with the US and voice quality is superb. Very easy to control from the steering wheel.

I never have the comment 'Are you in the car ?'

Brilliant extra, I could not live without it.
Mk6 GTi - returned to leasing company after 3 great years and replaced with :

Mk5 GTi - Edition 30 - Revo 1 and some tweaks - 310 bhp. Its a better car than the Mk6  - Now sold and replaced with :

Mk6 R - Rising Blue 5 Door. Won't be standard 270bhp for long

Family Car : Mercedes ML420 with 360 bhp
Looking at Porsche Macan as replacement

fav gizmo = xenons
fav extra = leather
fav gadget = led's (dono if they count in that category or not)

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

The interior is not full leather and the quality of the leather is not very good, it being of the painted variety. A complete waste of money for what it is. No discussion fom Kev or anyone else. :lipsrsealed: QED.

The leather is very expensive and not worth it I have decided. I have a mark on mine which VW say was my fault where I believe it was the fault of not very hard-wearing leather.

I would have spent the money on a sunroof or DSG if I had known this was going to happen.

so because one person has had a defect, the whole range of leather is not worth buying ?

I remember reading a Bugatti Veyron broke down at the side of a motorway once.
