Our favorite gadgets, gizmos and extras
« on: 19 July 2010, 21:13 »
Well I can see that most people on this site are "extra" CRAZY!

Personally I had to have the Monza shadows, leather interior and dsg gearbox, so anything else such that came on my showroom car (such as the sat nav, heated seats and parking sensors) were a bonus

So if I were to add further spec what would you recommend??

What's your favourite extra and why??????

PS You can only choose one so select carefully

My favourite is probably the Monza shadows as they look great stationary and even better when they move fast
Golf GTI mk6 DSG in black - 18inch Monza shadows - leather interior - sat nav - f/r parking sensors - heated seats - well it was a showroom model!

The xenons

They are the coolest extra I specced on my GTI and I think they look the bees knees, they do a little warm up routine every time you switch them on and down a dark country lane at night the cornering aspect of them is something else.

Would never go back to halogen lights now.

Thanks Amanda for rubbing it in.
My lights don't dance like yours.

My favourite mod: Rear LEDs even though I cannot see them all the time,

My favourite extra: My Ed30 knob. Beautiful to hold and look at. Makes the shift all the more enticing!

My most exspensive and essential extra: My RNS510*

My most useful extra: My VW Premium Bluetooth with voice control. Spooky!

This is a near blatant copy of countrytrucker's format.

Sat nav. Is good but I am getting to learn how to use it. Her voice is quite soothing and sleep inducing. Good for crashes though. Does you sunroof rattle and produce wind noise at speed, dear?

Monza's are fabulous, and I really like the Jacara cloth seats [glad I didn't go for leather] Don't have a favourite gizmo, like them all; just wish I'd specced xenons.
