Wiper Q's?

I have a wiper question...

I find myself stupid not able to get my wipers off the windscreen in order to properly clean the whole shield and cleaning the wiperrubbers....HOW IS THAT DONE...that old fashion flippping them over (rear no problemo)

I find myself stupid not able to get my wipers off the windscreen in order to properly clean the whole shield and cleaning the wiperrubbers....HOW IS THAT DONE...that old fashion flippping them over (rear no problemo)

1. Turn the ignition on then off, press down the wiper switch once [to the quick wipe position] and release, wipers will move to vertical position and can then be moved away from screen. 2. To put them back turn on ignition and press wiper switch down and release. Hey presto - they go back down. 
PS Make sure you have put wipers back onto screen before carrying out part 2.

It doesn't show how to put the wipers in the service position though. [Unless it's shown under another model, it's not in the GTI section]

Just finished cleaning my car...and YES it took me indeed nearly a day...

Anyway the wipers-trick worked like a charm...thanks !!!

I do not know if there is already a wash topic ...but today I have bought about 150 euro stuff mostly Sonox and some Turtle and am quite satisfied with the products that is I only do not fance the Sonos Spray and Clay...I see wipe-marks... .......so I had to Sonox Polish that out.....

I must admit/say thateven  my aftermarket leather appears also far from State of the Art....so I treated that today again since it has been nearly 2 weeks 30-38 degrees im Schwarzwald....burning the seats...

Fair enough, I thought I had read it there but obviously not. I must have got the "never rests on the same side twice in a row" from there.
