there was a thread about this before and the general concensus is don't bother. i had one and to be honset i saw very little difference. i have a few engine mods so that may be the problem as i gave my old ecotek to a mate with an older standard, k-jet and he thinks it give him better fuel economy. have a browse back i think it was in the ''chat-vw related'' section.

Through previous threads on here I think the outcome was that the ecotek valve was only worth anything when used on a carburretor as opposed to fuel injected. I think you'll find that most people will tell you it's a waste of time and money, especially on a valver. ?

What car has your mate got it on anyway ? ?:undecided:

i fitted an ecotek to my 1.3 carb, it made a massive difference but a mate bought one off ebay for his gti and it didn't benefit him so u prolly shouldn't bother.
