Thanks Guys. Appreciate the advice.
Steve, the Mustang looks like fun but 11mpg!
@2p a gallon over there compared to here, you dont mind at that price poluting the planet like the americans do best.

.... and they are so disgustingly enormous, that they are going to tip the earth off its orbit.
They idiots now blame the Brits for the oil spill even though BP is not a wholly British company and most of the sub contractors were Americans. Most Americans are a bunch of ignorant, fat, slothful, bogots and apologies of the human race! Special relationship is a one way thing. Their way. The sooner we become true Europeans the better. With friends like the USA who needs enemas.

Rant over.

Change the country to US to see what they offer in the US.  dunno bout the rocco maybe the hump on the middle rear counts as a seat?

.....but without a seatbelt   I went to look at them and am quite glad it only had 4 seats as that car was then ruled out for me.  It looks so dated already.

so how do you feel about Americans?  In all seriousness, I am yet to see an accusation to Brits, or calling out British for what happened in the Gulf. Regardless, as stupid as we are it would take us decades to figure out that BP had been polluting our coasts if BP didn't open their mouth? Right?

Back to subject, OP, you can find 2.5 V5 Jetta and Rabbits (Golf MK5 in US) but there is not a single rental place that offer GTIs.

Golf and GTi owners are the exception to the rule. This applies even here!
