I'm loving my 16v right now. Just did a trip to Lyme Regis from Yeovil, and loved it, pulled really well and even average 37(ish) MPG. Got it upto 40 at one point.  :grin:

Most definitely not, that was with several power blasts at the most opportune times, and stop/starting at several locations.  :grin: Besides you Passrat is like the weights of King Kong, no surprise it does 30 or less.  :evil:

Most definitely not, that was with several power blasts at the most opportune times, and stop/starting at several locations.  :grin: Besides you Passrat is like the weights of King Kong, no surprise it does 30 or less.  :evil:

Passat is not much heavier than the mk3.

Passat is not much heavier than the mk3.

Even so, I proved 40mpg can be done in the barge.
