I been thinking about going Harlequin on it's ass..

Please convince me other wise!

Yep your car is the wrong base colour plus met so unless your respraying the base will not look right

That's what makes it so more attractive! it' doesn't conform with the norm  Dependant on what colours are used, i think it will look ace!

Yes but yours is a 3dr cannot see it looking right to be honest.

As wayne said it might look a bit odd in 3dr, but I reckon it's worth a shot anyway. Even if it's a quick photoshop. Just remember to limit it to 4 colours and get the order right with the panel swaps :afro: I've seen ones where the panels are just painted random colours and it never looks as good as a planned scheme. Go for it :afro:

Colour scheme is all wrong on the one posted above, but it does look good in 3 door
Here's the scheme VW followed:
Colour 1: rear quarters, roof, sills
Colour 2: front bumper, front doors, front mirrors
Colour 3: bonnet, rear doors [not applicable for 3 door], rear bumper
Colour 4: front wings
The rear hatch, from what I've seen in pictures, matched either the front wings or the front doors, so colour 4 or colour 2.
The grille usually matched the front wings or the rear quarters, so colour 4 or colour 1.
It seems a bit anal but the method they used made all the colours on the official harlequins really stand out without anything looking out of place or randomly painted. It works really well. Hope that helps
EDIT: made a mistake.
