Brake Comp Valves
« on: 04 January 2005, 15:12 »
Hi lads and ladies

I need to get my Mk2 16v rear axle bushes replaced.
Ive been told that 9 out of 10 cars that get replacement rear axle bushes need a new Brake comp Valve.  (as the bolt breaks almost everytime)

Are these expensive to buy?
Where can i obtain one?

Are they readily available too?

Any advice would be greatfully recieved.
Cheers

check www.gsfcarparts.com for prices etc. don't know much about them other that they are prone to rust so you may be right that stuff would break?
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post

only thing i replaced when getting my rear bushes done, was the bushes themselves - no brake comp valve problems or anything like that - just give all bolts a good soaking in WD40 the night before

also, buy genuine VAG items for the rear bushes
