Once it's done avoid car parks with sodium lights at night time. It'll make you cry.
Nick

Ha, ha. Know all about this and it will all be checked for swirls etc under the lights in the body shop which are really evil.

Nothing to do with swirls. I have only ever seen two red cars which have had paintwork done that under sodium lights it hasn't been blinding clear. I myself had a tornado red MKII that had the front end painted by a classic Jag specialist and in day light it was impossible to tell. Under those damn sodium lights the front end looked a different colour red completely.

You know this little problem could have been avoided if you had Darren install the voice recognition bit of the RNS510

(unless you already have.. in which case, why were you not using it?)

Oh God in Heaven, my worst nightmare. I feel really sick.
Might as well have sent the car to Helmund!
I simply cannot understand how someone can do this. It beggars belief.

So I got off lightly in that case.
Paying for it myself. Can't be arsed waiting for Insurance Company to give go ahead etc and also don't want to lose my NCD which it seems is unprotected. Now they tell me.
Just want the car back ASAP. Should be ready tomorrow, latest Friday morning.

I did say etc! Yes they will be checking the painwork under sodium lights! It's part of their procedures. This is why I went to them.

This is genuinely shocking

Its a sustained attack so does make me wonder if they knew the attacker?
Golf GTI mk6 DSG in black - 18inch Monza shadows - leather interior - sat nav - f/r parking sensors - heated seats - well it was a showroom model!
