Had many Jap cars and a few Astra's 2.2's....
Looking at getting a remap on the car in the next month - been pointed towards AmD Essex? from the mkivs owners club, anyone know anyone else in the south west?
Anyway on to the problems I have picked up
1 being a squeaky clutch peddle and a wobble side to side? any ideas?
2 Engine never gets to mid way on temp, sits at 70-80 all the time? Thermostat? It does have a large KnN on there... any ideas? NOW SORTED _ TEMP SENSOR
3 when putting your foot on the clutch and on start up the revs dip to about 200, then pop back up again, if trying to pull off sharpish then it struggles... NOW SORTED _ CLEANED TB
4 - gear stick seems a little tough some times, goes in to gear but not as smooth as I feel it could?
Anyone with any help - Chuck it my way.
