This car is filth i love it

I hope that means good.  I can't wait to get the polished TTs on it. Hopefully looking at getting a full respray done at some point as well. I am also thinking long term, if I can get the outside looking the way I want, a 20VT might be on the cards in a year or so.  :lipsrsealed:

Was hoping to have the wheels this weekend but looks like they might be a little longer being done, next week they should be on. Locking wheel nuts purchased to secure them too, don't want any pikeys stealing my sh!t.

I also spent today with carb cleaner, even got some in my f**king eye. In the words of Will, "Brilliant!".

Cleaned the idle control valve, but doesn't seem to have cured my slightly lumpy idle. I'm still losing oil but I think I know where it's coming from, the most likely place is the oil pressure switch so I've cleaned that all up today and going to keep an eye on it these next few days, the second potential place is the rocker cover, seems to be a slight leakage from there so again, cleaned that and will keep an eye on it.

Most of my day with the car consisted of me cleaning up some of the engine bay, but the main cleaning was done on this:

Which I have turned to this:

Needs some more work but looking a lot cleaner.

That's all for now. :)

Looking smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth Spady! You need to get the plastic cover for the ISV, would look much better!

I did, but took it off as the cables don't fit in due to being so thick. Tried a DIY mod but that went tits up so through the cover away.  Would like to get the rest of the bay looking clean, carb cleaner and some clothes, and plenty of hours and elbow grease might do the trick haha!

Can't wait to get my wheels on, should look schweet then, but before I go ahead with anything else after those I need to get my sills replaced I think, looks like there's a decent amount of rust forming under there unfortunately .

I think I actually prefer those to proper TT comps.
