1.8 16v on abf managment yes or no help me pls

i can get the 1.8 for a £100 needs head gasket tho.... ive been lookin around for a ABF and had no luck!!!!!!!! missed out on one for £300 tho...

i didn't realise there was so many cars use the ABF lump.......trust me i want to keep it abf if i can i was just woundering if it was possible to use the 1.8 as i can get it.......

think i'll keep hunting around and see wot i came up with...

mine was that the alternator has cracks in it

yeah it would but still no body knows this and it may not be anything special or worse than a normal 1.8?

The management should provide more power, on the basis there isn't a sodding gurt plate in the way of the intake and that it knows far better what it's doing with the mixture and spark.

ok im a lil cofused.......... is it really worth me doin the 1.8 or should i just wait and get a ABF lump??

work and cost involved..........
ABF.......buy engine do cambelt change and fit......say£400

1.8 16v on ABF manement......engine£100
                                         headgasket£150
        what ever else i need to get it running£?
                    plus headache£££££££££
