ye norfolk is a bit of a trek ,as for the rx2's there not lol, took em to work last week as was on nites lol and done a bit ,borrowed a spline set off my mate and the first one i went to undo was already slightly stripped so gave up ,grrrr gonna drop em off to be shot blasted and go from there hopefully can still get it out,you never know if i pop up and see my bro could poss meet along way somehow ,he lives in stockport

nice one buddy.

thats the things with the rx's i fugured out to do it properly...
purchase the wheels £100-£150
shot blast and powder coat £80
tyres £200

that why i'm on the look out for 15's so i can just use my existing tyres and also 5x100 so no adaptors are needed  :undecided: but then its difficult to find something original.
it would be harder than a standard bonnet but i reckon its still possible! give it a go, whats the worst that can happen?

True, I might price it up.... sick of painting stuff and think it would suit this bonnet.

go for it mate, i think it would look great! there are lots of tuition vidoes on you tube as well.

If the black was red making them all completely red, i think they would look sweet!!

i like them but i think there is to much colour on them, it would be better if they let more of the original light through if you get what i mean?  :undecided: i might just ebay them and start again with another set.

What you were aiming for looked good, what you got isn't what you were after and even if it was, waaaaaaaaaaaay too much colour on them. The red turned out OK but there is smoke and there is black, that is black and it's killed them.  Instead of selling them couldn't you just strip them and redo them with less coats?

yeah i could but they cost a fair bit to have done? i might just see if they will rub down to a lighter tint all over then re lacquer them?

they are also now on ebay
