new project with pic's
« on: 03 January 2005, 10:39 »
Ok the new caddy project 20vt 6 speed, and retro styling is underway, here is a few pic's

The steering colum with mod pedel box that is being welded in later today.

Ok I got a opening window, I have polished it and couldn't resist fitting it to see what it looked like.

This is what I have done to the engine bay so far, removed servo etc... off to teh body shop tomo morning have holes I don't need sorted out and engine bay painted

The orig clock showing the low miles

And this is my lovely straight mint orig tail gate, this caddy took a long time to find but is worth it.
And soon teh reg will changed to G6DUB too
Hope to have it finished around April.

Don't be silly, a caddy is prob stronger than a mk1 GTi, as it was orig designed to take brick rubble!

Your not going to seam weld the whole of your 16v are you?
