paint correction involves a thorough wash process,claying to remove bonded contaminents, machine polishing with different pad and compound/polish combo to remove surface defects,scratches,marring,swirls,oxydation etc etc then some use a glaze to finish the polishing process off then seal it all in with two good layers of quality wax.
i know a very good detailer in leicester, Scott at Beau Technique! really nice chap and his experience goes back as far as mine(16yrs) and his attention to detail is second to none
