im toying over the idea ?
« on: 10 July 2010, 20:15 »
Guys,

I recently met a good mechanic i hope and they asked why dont you move your dump valve more near the raditor as at present its near the front window and get a after market air filter.

I told well the guy who fit the dump valve fitted inthat position which i werent happy with so i wasnt bothered and the air filter everyone suggested get a pipercross panel filter.

The mechanic said i can move the dump valve for £20 and fit the K&N air filter (brand new) £60 which ive had for ages.

I was saying you really dont get any benefits with after market air filter but he suggested otherwise. he said your car will feel more responsive and the noise is a bonus.

Even though i have the R32 air intake mod what should i do ?

Thanks all

Is the air filter you have a panel or a cone filter?
Either way you could easily fit that yourself in a few minutes.
If its a panel filter and you already have it, then fit it!
